Training programme of secondary stakeholders to End Violance Against Children on INSPIRE framework 7 strategies to prevent violence against children, has been organised in 6 blocks, 1 district level for NGOs in Ganjam, Odisha. More than 400 participants including Block Development Officer, Addl. Block Development Officer, Block Education Officer, Addl. Block Education Officer, Medical Officer, Child Development Project Officer, Chairperson of Panchayat Samiti, Vice-chairperson, Gram Panchayat Sarpanch, Welfare Extension Officer, CRCC, BRCC, Panchayat Extension Officer, ICDS Supervisors and Anganwadi Workers, Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA) and ANMs have been participated day long training programs.
INSPIRE: Seven strategies for ending violence against children identifies a select group of strategies that have shown success in reducing violence against children. They are: implementation and enforcement of laws; norms and values; safe environments; parent and caregiver support; income and economic strengthening; response and support services; and education and life skills.
